March Trader Joe’s Favorites

Gourmet Gab March Trader Joe's Favorites

This month it was hard to narrow my list down to five products of Trader Joe’s favorites. I experimented with new things, but found myself reaching for these time and time again. Whenever I travel, I bring a handful of my own tea incase I can’t find any I like at the hotel. I’m grateful to two of these teas for traveling along with me. Let’s dig into it March TJ’s favorites!

Cold Brew Latte Dessert Bars – $1.99

I grabbed these spontaneously as I was perusing the desserts because I was looking for a change-up to the non-pareils I love having before bed. These coffee flavored popsicles are light, not too sweet and refreshing as a dessert. I look forward to savoring these as the weather continues to warm up!

Organic Ginger Turmeric Herbal Tea – $2.49

Turmeric is trending all over social media, so when I saw this tea at Trader Joe’s, I had to give it a try. I am absolutely in LOVE with it! There are no actual tea leaves, but the flavor comes from the blend of ginger, turmeric, licorice root, orange peel, orange oil, and black pepper.

Organic Moroccan Mint Green Tea – $2.49

I went a little tea crazy this month, but when I had a horrible cough that lasted for almost two weeks, I was downing tea with lemon and honey constantly. This Moroccan Mint Green Tea kept me going and was a bright change to other black teas. Drinking this tea reminded me of drinking real mint tea in Portugal while I studied abroad!

Green Dragon Hot Sauce – $2.99

If you’re only going to try one thing from this list, let it be this! One of the employees at Trader Joe’s recommended this Green Dragon Hot Sauce to me while I was exploring the salsa isle and he said it was the best sauce to put on eggs. He was not kidding! Yesterday I sautéed spinach, cooked scrambled eggs with it and stirred in some of this hot sauce – it was exactly what I needed to fuel my day.

Unexpected Cheddar Cheese – $3.99

One of my favorite parts of grocery shopping is sampling new cheese. After I sampled and bought this Unexpected Cheddar Cheese, I was curious to see how often I would use it. The cheese has kept in my fridge so well that I keep adding some crumbles to different dishes. I have not found one way I don’t like using it yet! It’s called “unexpected” cheddar because it comes off tangy like cheddar at first, but then you get the salty bite like a Parmesan later.

What have been your favorite items a Trader Joe’s this month? I can’t wait to hear and try them myself! Be sure to follow me on Snapchat as I usually snap along the way of my TJ’s shopping trip every week.

Love food. Love self. Love life.
