I’m known for my big curly hair, big smile and big passion for food. I spend my days as a social media manager at Food Network working on dynamic, drool-worthy digital content. If you take a scroll on my social feeds, you'll see I'm *obsessed* with eggs. Outside of work, you’ll find me developing recipes and shooting videos for my social series, 12 Days of Eggs. I’ve had the opportunity to judge television cooking competitions like Worst Cooks in America and teach dozens of live cooking classes on the Food Network Kitchen app.

After being a self-taught cook for 20 years, I decided to take my skills to the next level through the culinary arts program at the Institute of Culinary Education in New York City. Many of my stories in the kitchen come from my unique background. My dad's side is the salsa dancing, Spanish speaking Cuban side and my mom's is the fun-loving side from the midwest, which includes 35 cousins and counting! While these two sides of my background couldn't be more different, there's one shared love language between everyone... food.

I studied Journalism and Mass Communication at the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University and was a part of Barrett, the Honors College. I started Gourmet Gab in 2010 as a place to document my cooking in college, and now it’s turned into my personal brand. I’m a lover of Trader Joe’s, obsessed with peanut butter and dream of being a DJ. The kitchen has my whole heart, and I can’t wait to share that love with you!
