Ever since I moved to a new apartment outside of Indianapolis, I have changed up my grocery shopping routine a bit. I used to make a weekly (or even more than once a week) trip to Trader Joe’s, and now I have to do more of a stock-up approach. I have been getting my produce from the farmer’s market each Saturday, so TJ’s has been a stop for more of my staple or unique items. Let’s dive in!
Mango Black Tea | $1.99
This tea has been rocking my summer! I make a double batch during Sunday Meal Prep and then store it in mason jars in the fridge to bring to work with me for a refreshing change to water.
Mashed Cauliflower | $2.99
What a great thing to have on hand in the freezer! All you have to do is toss a few of the mini muffin tin sized frozen mashed cauliflower in the pan with a tablespoon of water and you have perfect mashed cauliflower. This will definitely be a new freezer staple.
Simpler Wines | $4.99
I have seen these canned white wines all over the internet and was so excited to try them! What a perfect drink to have ready for a summer barbecue, to bring to a girls night or pack in a cooler on-the-go.
Hot and Sweet Cherry Peppers | $2.69
You know I love making hummus for Sunday Meal Prep and I try a new flavor almost every time. I have been eyeing these peppers at Trader Joe’s and picked them up to flavor my hummus. They add a punch of flavor to the dip that you can bring to work for a snack or add to a wrap, sandwich or burger
Shredded Swiss and Gruyere Cheese | $4.99
Just like I am working my way through the salsa section of TJ’s, I am also sampling my way through the cheese section. This shredded swiss and gruyere combo has been the best topping for my scrambled eggs for breakfast. Or just eating it as a snack itself ;)
