I’m a social media savvy content creator with formal culinary training. I love to cook (mostly!) healthy, colorful meals inspired by two sides of the family – my Cuban side and my Midwestern side. My happy places are the kitchen and the dance floor. Come join me!
Gourmet Gab was created in my dorm room freshman year of journalism school. Ten years later, the purpose is still the same: I hope to infuse your kitchen the effervescence and fun I have in mine while cooking crave-worthy dishes. Through recipes, videos and stories, my goal is to share the skills and techniques I’ve gathered from my 20+ years cooking. To me, solid culinary chops and fun in the kitchen go hand in hand.
I’m known for my big curly hair, big smile and big passion for food. I spend my days as a social media manager at Food Network working on dynamic, drool-worthy digital content. Outside of that, you’ll find me developing recipes and teaching live cooking demos on the Food Network Kitchen app. I’ve also had the opportunity to judge television cooking competitions like Worst Cooks in America and host several digital episodes on Food Network’s social platforms.
Never ever miss a new recipe – I’ll send new ones straight to your inbox.
